Award Winning Polymer Clay Artist, Maria Saracino takes you through the steps to create this whimsical potted elf. A great way to use an old ceramic pot, this little creature will make you smile every time you look at it. Polymer Clay is a wonderful medium that's easy to use, non-toxic and doesn't require any special equipment. You'll be amazed at what you are able to create with this easy to follow tutorial. You can use your masterpiece to hold a potted plant, as a candy dish or you can use it as a wine bottle holder. A beginner level project, this class is suitable for adults and children 10 years of age or older.
Your Instructor
Maria Saracino is an award winning figurative artist. Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada.
Maria discovered polymer clay in the mid 1990's and the creative possibilities of figurative sculptures. Maria's one-of-a-kind sculptures have been recognized by leading international publications. Her work has won several awards as well as being included in special exhibits at museums and galleries across Canada and the United States. During this time she has also developed a gift line that includes her limited edition Elves and Fairies as well as other unique seasonal items.
